We are fortunate to have the facilities and resources to meet the wide ranging and very specific needs of our pupils.
We also make the most of sector-specific work placement and college opportunites. For example, a pupil might complete a local work experience placement in the morning before attending for core lessons in the afternoon. Where appropriate, a pupil might be offered a vocational course at a college or with an alternative provider and these placements are rigorously checked to ensure that the pupil receives the same high quality of education as he or she would do in school.
We work hard to ensure specific learning needs are met and that all pupils are able to fulfil their potential. We hold regular review meetings with individual pupils and parents to review progress and curriculum plans. Pupil and parent voice activities are also important in helping us to meet the needs of our pupils.
