The P.S.H.C.E curriculum is embedded within the wider curriculum and is also taught through specific lessons at both key stages.
Units include sex and relationships, drugs and alcohol and personal finance. Issues related to social and emotional aspects of learning (SEAL) are further embedded in lessons.
Alongside the units covered through the syllabus, sensitive issues and risky behaviours are also addressed, including: self-harm, pornography, sexual exploitation and e-safety. These issues are often addressed by outside agencies and visitors and practical activities are used to enhance the curriculum wherever appropriate.
