At Craven PRS we aim to provide support to parents and carers as well as pupils. We operate an open-door policy and you are welcome to come to school to discuss your child at any point; we will make someone available.
Advice and support can also be offered by our Parental Support Advisor. A simple referral process can be submitted at your request. Please see our agencies page for other ways we can support you and your child.
Young Carers
The Young Carers and Families team at Carers’ Resource exists to support young carers and young adult carers in the Harrogate and Craven districts of North Yorkshire. A young carer is someone aged 18 or under who helps look after a relative who has a condition, such as a disability, illness, mental health condition, or a drug or alcohol problem. Most young carers look after one of their parents or care for a brother or sister. To find out more go to the website: http://youngcarersresource.org/
Mr. Midgley, our behaviour & attendance officer, is working with the young carers resource and can be contacted at Craven PRS on 01756 630495, or e-mail information@cravenprs.org for more information & advice.
